The History
After hearing the song The Blessing by Elevation Worship and Kari Jobe, Louisiana Family Forum President Gene Mills was inspired to bring a message of hope and healing to the people of Louisiana. Realizing God was speaking through this simple song, Mills felt the need to bring a powerful declaration over Louisiana and immediately began to assemble over 100 churches to loan their voices to accomplish this mission. Mills said, "I believe this is the message God wants to be shared with our entire state." Mills then teamed up with Alex Johnson and Rick Rowe, who produced The Louisiana Blessing.
